Hi, my name is Sam, I’m originally from a small town called Albany which is right on the coast of Western Australia, I have been working with children since I was 15-year-old, either in childcare or working as a teacher’s aide in a Primary school where I was lucky enough to work with children with additional needs. I have been working at Deep Creek for 8 years, I find my job to be very rewarding, and enjoy coming to work every day. I moved to Melbourne to be with my husband in 2002, I have 16-year-old twins.
When I have some down time, I enjoy reading and photography.
I am Roya and I came to Australia with my son and husband 38 years ago. In Iran, I got my diploma in hairdressing and nursing degree and worked in a hospital for a year. When we came to Australia, I did many jobs until one of my friends asked me to work in childcare, now 30 years I have worked in the childcare. I was at Pineview for 10 years where I got my diploma in children’s service and now, I have been at Deep Creek childcare centre for 20 years. Here, I managed to get an advanced diploma in children’s service, and in the future study, I graduate in pre- and post-natal family support.
I am Julie, I have been working at Deep Creek for 19 years. Before I moved to Melbourne in 1998, I lived in Taiwan, Saudi Arabia, Sydney and New Zealand. I have a husband, two sons and two daughters in law, and a grandson.
When I’m not at work I enjoy playing tennis, singing in a choir and learning Japanese and line dancing at U3A (University of the third age). I have previously worked as a volunteer for Doncare for the last 20 years. I enjoy helping others.
I am Ghazi, I was working in Deep Creek Childcare Centre as a casual educator in 2019-2020.
I am from Tehran capital of Iran. I have been living in Australia for almost 17 years. I am a Mum of two beautiful children one is 15 and the other is 10 years old.
I have 5 years’ experience as an early childhood educator, both here and at different childcare centres. I was very happy to be returning to Deep Creek in 2021 as a permanent educator.
My name is Queeny, I have worked at Deep creek since 2002, and in 2022 I would have been a part of the Deep creek family for over 20 years. I feel Deep creek is my second family.
I really enjoy working with the children, being creative and exploring new art experiences with them. It’s an area I feel very passionate about and would like to learn more, so I can share my knowledge with the children, to help broaden their imagination.
I live with my Mum, and I also have two younger brothers, my brothers have their own families, which makes me an aunty to two boys, and soon to be three boys.
